Mr Muir is a Ngalia Traditional Owner and cultural leader. He is Chair of the National Native Title Council, Co-Chair of the First National Heritage Protection Alliance and a steering group member of the First Nations Clean Energy Network. He is also a director of Tjiwarl Aboriginal Corporation.
He is often sought out by Australian and global media, where he frequently provides expertise on responsible investing, effective Environmental Social Governance (ESG) practices, actions aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the integration of technology such as fintech and other approaches to assess natural, social, and cultural assets.
